went to library @ opening time. gosh. so many aunties and uncles and small kids were jostling for space so tt they could get into the library first. i let the kiasu ppl in... so i was one of the last through the doors.
tried to finish the 2 half finished books that i brought wif me.. but only finished one.. the other one i finished on the bus home.. =(( couldnt return it b4 choir..
as usual, gng to the library, i HAVE to borrow books.. heehee.. returned 3 books ( 2 previously i'd finished) n... borrowed another 3. WAHAHA! could haf borrowed more but i din want to waste time looking @ books when i could b finishing tt other book..
@ 10.30, i went to cafe galilee instead of sitting @ the seats... was quite desperate for someplace where i could get a drink.. i was dying of thirst!! bought.... cookies n cream milkshake AGAIN. n apple crumble. tt was my lunch. the apple crumble really CRUMBLED. like. the crumbs were ALL over the place. i mean, they gif us a tiny fork n expect us to eat neatly?? no WAY man.. but, by the time i finished drinking my milkshake, my hands were freezing!! sososo cold. i was trying to warm up.. rubbing my hands, putting my hands around my neck, putting my hands under my armpits. (no. i did NOT really put my hands under my armpits. i was just testing to see if u were paying attention. =D)
when i was getting ready to go to choir, i stood up n saw maggie n some ppl standing near the cash converters.. i was wondering whether to avoid them or to join them.. (i thought the ppl she was wif were her pri sch friends) in the end, i approached her n asked her if she wanted me to wait for her so we could go choir together.. then i saw wee ting.. THEN. i saw the SURVEY TAKERS!!! AHHHHHH!!!! instantly regretted approaching maggie. anyway, i took the survey. the 2 ppl talk n talk n talk...
FINALLY we got away frm them.. rushed to sch.. it was drizzling.. wee ting went off home.. when maggie n i crossed the underground thingy to the other side of the road, i saw si jie n anna. i wanted to overtake them but maggie didnt. AS IF I CARED! i still sped up.. end up maggie also sped up.. but we were making too much noise n they noticed us b4 we could overtake them..
@ the traffic light, saw pearlyn (sp??) - nt sure of the spelling cos her name got quite a few diff ways of spelling- and ain the sec 1 gal. maggie asked ain to share her umbrella n i asked pearlyn. anna n si jie both gt SOAKED while maggie n i only got wet @ our sleeves.. HAHAH!! woops.
took my medicine @ the canteen. went up to choir. a bunch of us were semi-panicking cos wei yin was still bathing @ 1.40+.. cos we wanted her to arrive b4 ms lye.. if nt she get scolding.. then we found out tt she was gng genting n wasnt coming to choir today. CHEY!
went downstairs to combine wif band. the drummer n some other guys gt scolding frm the band conductor.. dunno y.. it sounded correct. the trumpet guy din play his solo!! !@#$ n the saxaphone solo was... lacking. it was a far cry frm the one in the CD.. luckily they still haf time to practice.. i hope the saxaphone solo will b breath-taking n hold the audience spellbound.. afterall, its MY solo too.. lol.
THEN. ms lye said we were too soft. tried to force maggie or me to take the mic (microphone) to sing into it. then i think kylie sabo-ed lee lian. but i think she refused to take the mic.. ms lye came back to the 2 of us. end up i took the mic. DAMN! i cant even hear myself properly for goodness sake.. how to sing into the mic?? luckly the thing wasnt on.. the light wasnt on so i sing sing sing aso it couldnt pick up any sound...
ms lye told us to go canteen.. said tt we had to wear the butt-ugly purple gown. but nt all the sec 1s haf the costume. (HENG!!) so we haf to wear the red tee n black pants outfit. next sat no prac!! but 19th gt prac. n 20th. dunno abt wee ting's chalet. should i go? ms lye dismissed us practically ONE hour earlier. but SOME ppl (namely maggie) wanted to go straight home. TOOT! so end up i had no choice! BLEUGH!
cant wait for class gathering! hope we will haf fun! gt a lot of money frm mum so can SPEND SPEND SPEND!!!!! YAY!!! tmr maybe gng out wif my sis.. either go PP or go to town area.. wanna watch the omen n benchwarmers n x-men:the last stand n she's the man n the da vinci code (which is a bloody nc16) n the child.
the child is this french movie. ive heard really gd things abt the show.. see if i can find anyone to go see it wif me.. if nt i may go alone. the show sounds SO nice. all the movies tt ive just named.. i wanna watch ALL!!! anyone wanna go watch? puh-LEASEEEE....
just now went to ah-ma's house.. on the way there i played a game wif my sis.. we each chose a vowel n we couldnt mention tt vowel in our speech. she chose 'e' n i chose 'o'. so for example.. my sis wanted to say gareth gates (i was singing the song) but she couldnt mention the letter e right? so she said 'garth gats'. lol.
ate sushi n satay todayyy.. got eel again! ate tt in my sushi. as usual, ate only one.. drank this pepsi tt was like, urine color. lol. it was called pepsi gold or sth like tt.. got a pic of david beckham on it. so my aunt was joking tt it was beckham's urine. LOL. tasted the same though.. another aunt gave me 1 big lemon n 1 small lemon to make lemon juice!! yay. my sis n cousin aso got 2 each..
one last thing... im SO happy tt my predictions in spore idol gt through!! rahimah rahim - cool name!- n jasmine tye - pretty n nice voice! both my sis n maggie wanted gayle nerva to get through. but.. NO!! i dun want. she slid up her notes.. like she cant reach but still wanna try.. EW. the siew woon was frm the hwa chong instituition choir! saw her @ the concert. @ spore idol she TRASHED one of my fave songs!! the song was 'are you happy now' by michelle branch. and geraldine chua attempted 'i will survive'. she did NOT sound like the beloved daphne khoo. she kinda reminded me of tt
jesus video. next weeks guys look really pathetic. i hope they dont sound as bad as they look.
