went to my grandma's house today.. the one in whampoa. its close to town area. i always DREAD going there. cos my grandma only speaks in teochew. and i dunno how to converse in teochew. i dont know how to speak it!! the bus ride took abt 1 hr.. @ my grandma's house, my mum talked to my grandma while i read a book. =)) finally, we left. on the way back, i sat next to this old n fat man. i thought: nvm.. but then!! after awhile, i realised tt he was a bit 'off'.. he faced the window n talked to himself n even GIGGLED. ever heard an old man GIGGLE?? i tell u, its SCARY.
my mum and i went to the world blood donor's day event @ east coast park. we took the shuttle bus frm bedok. turns out the thing was held @ tt place where we had the cross country run.. n last year, the sand-castle building competition. it was horrible.. the ground was SLUSHY, n i wore slippers. totally regret. RUINED my slippers.. =(( took a bottle of water each n walked around for like 20 mins.. got free popcorn, candyfloss n can play games n win TY soft toys but the queues were SO long tt i felt sian just LOOKING @ the queues..
alked over to the beach area to look @ the sandcastles.. there was a sandcastle building competition. i was thinking tt most of the castles were really nice... until i realised tt they provided the sand buckets.. no wonder theywere nice! the sandbuckets had nice designs on them so everyones sandcastles were built frm those moulds. GARGH!! n i thought the ppl were pro!
went back to bedok via the shttle bus.. took 28 home. cooled down @ my sofa while reading.. played diablo 2 somemore.
THEN. heidi messaged me on msn. asking me to join the debate team thingy.. (well.. actually like begging..) cos she said tt the debate team was pitiful (my own words) cos the sec 4 seniors had left. our schs debate team consists of... only her.lol. she said tt she consulted the eng dept etc.. n they din think any sec 2 was up to the job.. i wasnt sure if she meant only i was okayed by them or i wasnt n she insisted. either way, she was SCARY. btw. shes in the NATIONAL DEBATE TEAM. wow. one of the top 12 debaters in spore. MAN! i hate her!! jk

so... i agreed.
she piled me wif the main event straight away. debate camp in dec by the debate association n feb/march intersch debates..
then.. she made me much happier by saying tt im nt confirmed to b in!! yay! she was so scary tt if i din say yes, she might haf bit my head off. cos ppl need to review the 'candidates'. thank GOD!
hope i dont get in. =)) n hope she doesnt read this. she'll WRING my neck.
