Today we celebrated my aunt's birthday.. She also struck lottery =))
We went to the VIP place for no signboard.
The meal was like.. wow.
First was this pao thingy.. Got the lotus paste inside.
Then next was the lobster salad. Lobster + some kind of salad cream and fruits.
Then it was sharks fin soup. I added a LOT of pepper. Regetted later. =D
Next was ANOTHER soup. It was some weird soup lah.
Ginseng prawn soup I think. The taste was weird and us kids didn't like it. Just ate the prawns. heehee.
Then was abalone soup. ANOTHER soup. So crazy.. We had THREE soups in total.
The abalone tasted JUST like mushrooms..
Then we had lettuce. Very nice :)))
Next was fish. The flesh was very tender. yay. Very nice to eat.
Next was scallops and soe veggie with it. There was a bit of chilli with the scallops. That spoilt it. =(
Then we had a yam ring. Nice too!
There was kang kong but there was chilli so I didn't take it.
We had fishcake thingy. There were 3 varieties. One had meat, one fish and one was filled with prawns! =)
We had noodle too. By this time, everyone was fighting for the smallest bowl of noodle. heehee.
Lastly we had some desserts. There was soursop jelly thingy and fruits.
The jelly was very nice but the soursop was too sweet. The fruits were great!
The strawberries weren't sour at all and the mango was very sweet.
The only bad thing was that the grapes had seeds.
On the way back, we took 67. Read 'The Historian'. SOO nice. Inspires me to go and find the book on Dracula to read. =)
