In the morning, I just slacked around the house watching Full House and Death Note.
At about 4, I went to the library to return and borrow books.
I took the MRT to Clementi and reached there 45 mins later.
I walked around awhile and then waited for Yingying to arrive.
We went to Macs and she ate her breakfast cum lunch cum dinner.
She was like.. WHOA. Eating SOO much.
One McSpicy, one cup corn, one large drink, one large fries, three packets of garlic chili and one whole container of curry sauce. Wow.
She took sooo long and I was starting to get hungry from my dinner at 3pm. Lol. So I bought a McFlurry, and guess what? I clumsily DROPPED the cup. Wah lao.
Luckily for me, the staff saw that I dropped my ice cream and gave me a new cup. Yay! Lurve the Macs people. But soo paiseh. next time dun dare to go back. lol.
After all the food was consumed, we went to take 96 to NUS.
Saw many familiar faces from the aca pella camp.
We walked there and hung around before the concert. The people wanted to change our seats but we din want. Lol. Too bad.
The concert started at 8. Nanu opened the show. I saw Hui Min in it!
Hui Min was my vocal training cher at Plaza Sing’s Yamaha.
Their opening wasn’t that nice though – except for the short medley at the back part.
THEN. Came M-Pact. WOO!! LOVE ‘EM!!
I LOVED Fletcher, Jeff, Matt, Marco, Britt and Trist’s solos.
When Matt did his solo, everyone was like cheering for him. =))
I think he’s really nice.
And in one of the songs when he did backup, he sang so so SOOO high!! I thought it was Britt then I realized it was MATT!!
And I never knew that Fletcher sang ‘Baby I Need Your Loving’!! AHHH!!! I LOVE that song!!
After Jeff did his solo the 2nd time, there was a bunch of people shouting, “We love you, JEFF!!”
SEE!! I’m not the only one who idolizes Jeff. He SO rocks.
I kind of feel sorry for Trist cos he doesn’t have much time in the limelight but.. his solo was v cool. And I LOVE his bass rendition of “Love the One You’re With”. AHH. NICE!
Britt, as usual, is a DIVA. Really cool guy. =)
Marco was really cool. I still think tt he’s the best looking out of all the Mpact guys BUT he’s the least friendly. So.. I rank him last out of all the guys. Bleh.
After the concert, Yingying and I tried to go backstage but the personnel told us that it’s out of bounds.
We waited outside. Bought a cd each. Asked them to sign and after that, stayed to take pics. AWW. Disappointment. =((
We couldn’t take a group pic so we took smaller grp pics with some of the members. But none with Trist.
In the cd that I bought, he was loads younger and was quite shuai. Lol.
Yingying and I missed the last 96 out of campus. CRAP.
We wanted to hitchhike but no one stopped. =(
We ended up asking for directions from an Indian man. He helped us. THANKS!! Lol. As if he will read this.
We took 197 ALLLL the way back to Bedok and took a taxi home from there. THANKS to yingying’s mum for treating me for my ride home. I saw SOOO many cockroaches and at bedok, I even saw a rat! EWW.
SOO tired after that. Reachd home @ abt 1.30am. argh. Tired sia.
