1st Day
On the first day, I arrived in school in a panic... cos, I FORGOT TO BRING PLATES!!! What's more, I had earlier agreed to help tiff bring her a plate. AHHHHHHH.Also, Xin Yi informed me that the drink stall aunty wouldn'tgive me a bottle cap!I grabbed corr n we went to the shop @ the bus stop to get a bottle of water but they didn't sell 1.5 litres bottles.I was forced to buy a normal bottle.. 500ml? In the end, THE DRINK STALL AUNTY GAVE ME A FRIGGIN' BOTTLE CAP!!!
!@#$Bloody waste of my money =(I also managed to get the rice stall aunty to donate a box to me. Tore it in half; half each for tiff n I.
We met our trainers in the hall.All the other classes had trainers who made them laugh and felt immediately at ease.Us? We got this tyrant of a trainer called Utt (utt's a girl), a more quiet trainer called Faizal (who REALLY resembles Hady Mirza the more I think of it..) and a Malay trainee (I don't know his name but he had nice blonde tipped hair)We were immediately made to run to the front of the hall in 10 seconds. wtf?!Us girls sitting at the back felt especially pissed off. We had to navigate around the many bags while running to the front.
The group sitting-down together in the hall was sian. I have to admit, I was wishing that we'd happen to get the wrong trainer and that Boz would tell Utt that she was supposed to go to another class. =XWe were the most quiet, saddest looking class. Haiii. What to do? Just be contented with what we got lor..
Setting off out of school, we walked and walked.. and walked somemore..We walked for approximately THREE hours. It was tiring and especially when we found out that we'd walked the wrong way, very demoralising.It was extremely surprising that I didn't really feel like singing. I mean, it's REALLY rare for me to shut up right? hahahah.I only felt like singing twice.The first time was when we stopped and e7 stopped near us and the girls started singing 'Home' and 'A Lonely September' albeit extremely out of tune.The second time was near VJC and Tiff, Bren and I were walking together and we started singing 'Lao Shu Ai Da Mi' and other random songs. =D
When we FINALLY arrived at the campsite, my feet really felt like a few blisters were gonna pop up. Before they let us relief our stomaches, we were FORCED to do a cheer.It goes like:Food food, Yummy YummyYes I want, Yes I wantTeachers eat, Trainers eatEveryone, Let's eat!-.- lameness.
We finished our lunch and went for abseiling.When it was my turn, Yan Ting and Lena helped me put on my harness.Camillie took over Lena and helped me but she made the thing v v loose. I was trying to pull it tighter by myself but it was SUPER hard lahhh.nice Bartok took over =) helped me pull the thing, then Yan Ting was like," Ehhhh, Janus, seize the opportunity ah?" I can practically imagine her 'lao ah pek' kind of expression. LOL.
Anyway, I climbed up to the 3rd level in the toot helmet and harness. Saw some e7 people sitting at the dining hall.At the 3rd level, the man threatened to do 'SOMETHING' to me if he found anything wrong with my harness -.-I tightened my harness then the woman told me to faster n she told me to go to the edge and she'd help me.WAHLAO. Damn dangerous to go to the edge w/o properly securing my harness leh! She still want me to risk my life! lol. x)
I didn't listen during the briefing (was too busy watching e7 rock climb) so I didn't know how to brake the abseiling thing.When I abseiled down, it hurt SOOOOOO much that I had a tiny burn on my hand. ouchouchouchhh.I finished, rested at the wall and helped the people with their harnesses.Too bad that Faris took soo long with t abseiling thing though..
After the abseiling, we went on to the general stations. I was in the even numbers group.The first one was a round platform where 4 supporters had to help the rest of the even numbers to get up on the tiny platform.I was one of the supporters. We had to help them up and also make sure that they didn't fall down.We did this station about 3 or 4 times.The last time we had to do this station, Utt even made all of us sing the school song while standing on the platform. ><
The second station we went to was called zig zag or something liddat.DAMN stupid one la.We were supposed to walk along a wooden plank while our classmates put their hands out to support the person and make sure that he/she won't fall down.Khairul was like super lame.. He was organising the people and telling us who to go next and stuff.He was giving nicknames to each person while he/she was walking along the plank.e.g. Fadli = brad pitt, yiling = wilbur etc.
The third general station was balancing on a log.All the even numbers had to balance on the log in a random order then we had to arrange ourselves in order of height.And no one was allowed to touch the floor. what the...After many fruitless tries, Utt and the trainee trainer told us to balance there without making any sound while they provoked us, tried to make us laugh and stuff like that. so lame!!
After the general stations, we went for dinner.During dinner, we made a different cheer. This time, class by class had to shout cheers before eating. After dinner, we all gathered at the road outside the dining hall and Utt, Dumdum and Shasha taught us some songs and cheers for campfire night.We learnt the shasha clap, the dumdum clap, the spongebob clap..3 shasha claps!
haiyah! (x2) hmph!1 dumdum clap! RAWK! lol..1 spongebob clap! *laugh in spongebob way*Then, Azie (mummy!) told us to prepare. We went for the night walk.It was pretty weird, walking around without knowing where we were going.
We had supper after that and went for a shower next.Tiff and I had to share a cubicle with this 3T8 girl. It was pretty awkward but in the end, I washed my hair while in my clothes. Tiff followed suit while the other girl started taking off all her clothes except for uh, panties.I don't like to bathe with other people!!
I bathed finish and went to a toilet cubicle to change. We went to sleep and I slept with no problems even without a sleeping bag.But when I woke up, I was freaking FREEZING!!
2nd day
We went for rock climbing. Lala. Didn't finish but went higher than I expected to go lah.While I was waiting for the rest of the people to climb the wall, I sat on the floor and.. sort of bullied Bobby for awhile. x) Acted angry at Aziz somemore. Don't care~~
Next we went for... KAYAKING!!!!!We learnt how to move the paddles and put on the Personal Floating Device(PFD). They told us that we would be one boy n one girl in a kayak. I was thinking.. hmm. Maybe ask one of the Malay guys to partner with me.End up, they randomly assigned us partners.I was grouped with Luqman and Wan Leng(non-swimmer).We grouped up and went to the shore. Carried the kayak into the water. lalalaaa.Everyone kayaked out.
Luqman sat in front, then Wan Leng then meeee. Wah lao.. really regret.Sitting behind, everytime Luqman turn his paddle, all the salt water will kena my face.. SO SALTY! And I couldn't see properly..
At one point, we capsized!! YAYYYY! It was fun la.And.. my knight in shining armor.. Faizal (LOL) saved us.He turned the upside down kayak over with ONE HAND o.O SO STRONG!I climbed onto the kayak again. Wan Leng took the motorboat back to shore. The motorboat was SO SMELLY!! All the exhaust and smoke..We kayaked back.. Luqman and I w/o Wan Leng seemed easier than with her.. I guess it was cos it was so cramped.
After that, we went for lunch. We were forced to eat at the bike shack cos we were WET. =( meanies.Lunch... then we had campfire prep.Did cheers and the dance and stuff.
Next was........ IMPROVISED RAFTING!!!!We competed against e5 to see who would finish first. In the end, we finished first!Nicholas, Khairul, Luqman, Brian, Nadhirah, Hai Mei, Tiff and I went on the raft.Last year's sec3 batch had EVERYONE carrying the raft to the water and out of the water.This year, it was only us 8 people!!It was very exciting!! The water pushed us around and even trapped Khairul's leg beneath the poles and caused him to have a blister sized wound on his leg. OUCH.My back muscles started to ache again from lifting the raft.The choppy water pushed us here and there. As the person in front, I had to push extra hard.. Very tiring but very fun!When we finally got onto the raft, Shaun helped us by passing us our paddles.
The arrangement was such that Nicholas was on my right, Bryan on my left and Nadhirah on his left.When I sat on the tire, I nearly lost my balance x)Nic helped a bit when he got on cos his leg helped me keep my balance.We were supposed to shout "WE ARE FLOATING!" to the people on shore.We shouted it once but they didn't hear us so we had to shout it again.The 2nd time, Bryan stood up, walked along the poles and we all shouted together then.. Bryan jumped/fell into the water. -.-HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAA!!! It was damn bloody funny. When we got to shore, I was dead tired but it felt good (:
We went for a looooong bath after that. We were given about 1 hour to prepare before dinner.I bathed in my own cubicle! But before that.. I helped Renay AND tiff to hold their doors. Wah lao. Hand damn pain.
Went for dinner then had some campfire prep.Sengie and I supposed to teach e6 the chorus pts for Breaking Free in FIVE friggin minutes. Impossible lor..Campfire was fun.. e6 self high.I will NEVER forget the sight of Jason trying to do the worm crawl. OMFG TOO DAMN FUNNY!Went to sleep after supper. Slept well..
3rd Day
Woke up the next morning, packed and did morning duty. We cleaned up the teachers' sleeping place. I rmb when Hui Xian, Carol and.. 1 more girl went inside to mop after someone else n I swept the place.We were like shouting," Don't rape Hui Xian!! Hui Xian! Are you okay!?" HAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!! We had some fun while waiting for the buses to arrive.Took bus back.. We were all singing camp songs in the bus. SOOOO many memories =)))
