Went to reunion dinner with my maternal grandma's side at Goodwood Park Hotel.The meal was 7 course..
First was the yu sheng, then some of those pink lotus buns thing.Then we had shark's fin soup. It can be a meal in itself lah! SOO filling. I added SO much pepper and cos I was watching the TV while stirring my soup, I spilt some onto the table =X
Then, when the waiter was taking away my bowl of shark's fin soup, I took my plate to put it in the place of my bowl so that hopefully no one would notice my spill..The waiter saw and asked me to lift my plate so that he could put a few serviettes(sp?) on the spill..I moved my plate and... I KNOCKED IT INTO MY CUP OF TEA.My whole cup toppled and TADA! ANOTHER spill! I am SUCH a klutz..
Ok. anyway, after that incident, I was a lot more careful.There was some chicken with great sauce and Edwin and Ernest were pigging out on that, scooping the sauce and mixing it with other random dishes. EEEW.There was the abalone with vegetable. Don't like abalone but I LOVED the veggie. Every year, I will take more of the veggie while everyone else wants more abalone =)There was some fried noodle thing which wasn't that great but passable I suppose..OH YA! My aunt offered me this plate of prawns and sea cucumber and stuff.Too lazy to peel prawns so I just watched the LURVELY flat screen TV on the wall.
The dessert was sea coconut with some longan and stuff.The sea coconut was not soft enough for my liking though.Yesyes, I'm fussy, CANNOT AH!?
When we were leaving, we didn't want the next group of people who were coming in to watch the show we were watching so.. Edwin changed the channel to some malay/indian channel and turned the volume super low. HAHAHAHA!! SO EVIL.
Took the MRT back with my bro and Clement. Wah lao.. Both of them so tall that I look short!!Watched Borat on my bro's Ipod Video.SOSOSOSO vulgar and funny! gonna watch the whole movie soon. heh.
My bro bought a milkshake and we shared it. Walked home and chatted. My internet sort of died out on me.. I did NOT abuse my internet!! (well maybe a teeny little bit, sick guy =) )
